Bookbinding

Bookbinding is where it all began for us. Using the covers of damaged and out-of-date titles, we repurpose vintage books and give them new life by marrying their covers with fresh blank pages.

Each sketchbook is carefully bound by hand with linen thread and features a highly flexible spine that allows the book to lie completely flat. Our standard sketchbooks come with 80 pages (40 sheets) of 90 lb. acid-free white drawing paper. Other paper styles are available via custom order (see our Custom Design page for details).
